The OPP is reminding the public to avoid unnecessary 911 calls. These non-urgent calls consist of pocket dials, accidental dials and children playing with phones. The OPP is required to respond to all 911 calls for public safety and security. If it’s not an emergency you can contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310- 1122.
