Two of the local Francophone school boards in Kapuskasing will be teaming up with the Indian Friendship Centre in a cultural camp. The camp will run from August 3 rd to the 5 th and final registration for the camp is set for July 5 th . Cité des jeunes Vice Principal Trish Papineau says the camp is free and has a simple objective in mind — bringing cultures together in peace and understanding. The camp will be run out of the Indian Friendship Centre but will include a trip to the Abitibi River and an Indigenous burial ground. Parents can register their children through the Indian Friendship Centre and Cité des jeunes.
