A 35-thousand dollar theft from Expedition Helicopters in Cochrane is under investigation by the OPP. Constable Michelle Simard says it happened in early June, when a trailer and a generator were stolen. The trailer is described as a black, flatbed tandem trailer with wood decking and loading ramps. The generator is 10 feet long, beige and red in color. Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the police or Crime Stoppers.
