The Kirkland Lake OPP has made six arrests after a lengthy drug investigation carried out by multiple units. The area’s crime unit and OCEB contributed greatly to the investigation which uncovered methadone, opiates and a number of prescription medications. The OPP says it made arrests at four different locations yesterday, charging the six, including one eighteen year old. The charges stem from trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
