New services as HSN could provide more support for cardio out-patients in the Northeast. The Cardiac Out-Patient Centre offers services and clinics which don’t fall under the classification of hospitalization. HSN says nurse practitioners, cardiac sonographers and registered nurses will be on-hand at the site. Some of the new services include a rapid access cardiology clinic, congestive heart failure care and Ontario Telemedicine Network resources.
