Some NHL notes, The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired goalie Frederik Andersen from the Anaheim Ducks yesterday in exchange for the 30th overall pick in the upcoming draft and a second-round pick in 2017. Andersen, who was set to become a restricted free agent, has agreed to a five-year, $25M deal with the Leafs. Â Elsewhere the Florida Panthers have acquired the rights to defenceman Keith Yandle for a sixth-draft pick and a conditional fourth-round pick if he were to re-sign with the Panthers.
