MORE MOOSE COLLISIONS

Following seven moose-related collisions in South Porcupine, the OPP is urging drivers to watch for them on our northern highways.  Public safety is the number one priority for police and one of the best ways to insure it is through education.  This comes as wildlife fencing may be coming to stretches of Highway 11 and 101 in north eastern Ontario.  Police are asking the public to keep their eyes peeled, especially at night time on the shoulders as they look for water and vegetation.  Light bars can often be a great investment into safety.
