Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is raising red flags about a lack of action from the feds when it comes to cutting the small business tax. This was a promise made by Liberal MPs during the election, which would have seen the tax go from 11 per cent to nine. Angus says it’s not too late for the feds to make good on that promise, and give small business owners a break on their taxes. The Parliamentary Budget Office recently released a report which said not cutting the tax could cost the overall economy 300-million dollars.
