The Cochrane OPP has confirmed the human remains found in Cochrane last week belong to Aline Lalonde, also known as Aline New. The OPP has charged a 41-year-old Cochrane man with second degree murder in connection with her death. Police say they received a call earlier last week with details of the remains found in Fournier Township just southwest of Cochrane. The court date is set for June 7th in Cochrane.
