On Friday, nearly nine months after first opening its doors, the Cochrane Dog Park enjoyed its official grand opening. Canadian Tire was on hand with prize bags for visitors and the Girl Guides were selling their cookies. Teens were the most prolific guests with more than a dozen dogs dropping by throughout the day. The dog park is open daily throughout the warmer months for the enjoyment of all dog owners. If you use the park, please be careful to obey all posted rules.
