The OPP are reminding drivers that they have until May 31st to change out their studded tires. The Highway Traffic Act does allow for studs, but only between September and May. Failure to comply could end in a one thousand dollar fine. Police say the deadline is quickly approaching, and are asking drivers to switch the tires as soon as possible.
