Yesterday in Cochrane, a blue mini-van taxi cab operated by Chimo Taxi, left 5th street, continued about 100 feet and landed nose first in Lake Commando. MooseFM was on hand shortly after the accident as police first attended the scene. An hour later, a tow truck arrived to pull the taxi out. The cab driver appeared to be uninjured; it is not known what caused the accident or whether the driver will face charges.
