Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas is asking the province to restore stable and predictable funding for Northern Ontario hospitals. The NDP Health Critic says frontline workers have been laid off and beds have been closed across the north. Health Minister Eric Hoskins says the province is increasing funding by over 50 per cent, and they are building new hospitals to keep up with an expanding population.
