NewsCOCHRANE MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER SHARE ON: Tim Rout, staff Tuesday, May. 10th, 2016Second degree murder charges have been laid in connection to the disappearance of 70-year-old Cochrane woman Aline Lalonde. Lalonde, who also goes by Aline New, went missing early last week. Charged is 41-year-old Richard New of Cochrane, who is now in police custody. The OPP is still continuing their search for the victim, and have called in a number of specialty units to help out, like the underwater search and recovery team. The accused has a court date set for later this week in Cochrane.
