The Cochrane OPP says residents may notice an increased presence in the town as it continues to search for a missing woman. Police say the 70-year-old woman was reported missing on Wednesday night. The OPP is again requesting the public’s assistance in tracking down Aline New, also known as Aline Lalonde. The detachment is asking residents to check their property for any signs of the woman and to notify police immediately if they find anything. She’s described as Caucasian, five-foot-one and a heavy build with grey hair.
