McHappy Day Fundraisers in the area have raised nearly $4,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Foundation. The RMHC provides accommodations to families whose children are seeking medical care and treatment. It has 14 houses and 13 hospital rooms across Canada. The Kapuskasing locations raised $2660 along with Hearst bringing in $1220.
