The Tampa Bay Lightning needed overtime for a 5-4 win over the New York Islanders last night and took a 2-1 lead in their second-round series. Elsewhere St Louis thumped Dallas 6-1 to take a 2-1 lead in that series and Nashville beat series San Jose 4-1 the Sharks have a 2-1 series lead.
