NewsBISSON CHALLENGES GAS PRICES SHARE ON: Tim Rout, staff Tuesday, Apr. 26th, 2016Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson is keeping the pressure on the government over what he calls unfair gas prices in the north. Bisson brought the issue of a 26-cent differential to Queen’s Park, saying it doesn’t make any sense. He is asking how gas refineries are getting away with selling gas at 26-cents difference, saying there is a clear conclusion. Bisson says the province has the ability to regulate the prices. He is giving kudos to Mayor Steve Black and the Timmins city’s council, saying they are working for fair prices for all northerners.
