HSN has announced its new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program inpatient unit is now open. The new CAMHP is housed at the Ramsey Lake Health Centre and now services a wider area in north eastern Ontario. The larger facility is geared to accommodate anyone under the age of 18 with any mental health services or needs, including a crisis unit. HSN says mental health care needs and concerns for youth have grown greatly in north eastern Ontario with 22 per cent of school age children now seeking mental health care or services.
