NewsHELP FOR THE HURTING SHARE ON: Tim Rout, staff Wednesday, Apr. 13th, 2016Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson is asking the province for help when it comes to Attawapiskat. Bisson says this is not the first time there has been a rash of suicides on the James Bay coast, and he is looking for a long-term commitment from the province for the remote First Nations. Bisson says those services range from child and youth to the hospital. Premier Kathleen Wynne says the solution is a multi-faceted one, and they are sending services up. She says the Minister of Children and Youth Services will be going up to the remote First Nation this week to ensure those services are adequate.
