There could be some movement later this year on the Ring of Fire. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Northern Ontarians should expect announcements about the chromite discovery in the coming months. Trudeau made the comment in Sudbury while making a funding announcing for an 80-million dollar road project. In addition, the president of Noront Resources is expecting news on a development plan by mid-year. Noront is one of the major mining companies looking to develop the Ring of Fire.
