Baseball’s new rule on breaking up double plays gave the Tampa Bay Rays a 3-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays last night. The game ended when Jose Bautista was called out on review for interfering with Logan Forsythe while breaking up a double play in the 9th inning.
The Toronto Raptors beat the  Charlotte Hornets 96-90 last night, tying their franchise record of 30 home wins.
The Florida Panthers beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-1 last night to clinch top spot in the Atlantic Division. Elsewhere Pittsburgh got past Ottawa 5-3, Winnipeg needed overtime to beat Anaheim 2-1and LA edged Calgary 5-4 also in OT.
