Last night in the NHL the Buffalo Sabres skated to a 4-1 win over the Toronto maple Leafs. Elsewhere Montreal shut out Tampa bay 3-0, Ottawa edged Minnesota 3-2,Vancouver doubled San Jose 4-2 and LA blanked Calgary 3-0.
The Raptors had the night off last night but still managed to clinch top spot in the Atlantic Division when the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Boston Celtics 116-109 .
