Kapuskasing’s town council will be convening after the long weekend, the location of a new drive-thru parking meters and the activation of downtown’s system could be announced. Council chose to defer the decision after multiple locations for the accessible option were met with criticism. The town is looking to install it in an open location that’s safe to the public and will also allow commuters to pick up pay-and-display tickets to use across the whole town. The meeting is set for 5:30pm at the Civic Centre on Monday March 28th.
