It’s three in a row for the Cochrane Crunch who downed Timmins last night 6-4.  One more win and the Crunch take the series.

Canada is now among the three teams tied for first at the World Women’s Curling Championship.  Chelsea Carey picked up wins against Germany and Italy yesterday to go to 6-1.  Scotland and Switzerland also have 6-1 records.  Next up are Japan and Russia, each at 5-2.

Montreal edged Anaheim 4-3 in the NHL last night.  Other games saw Washington double Ottawa 4-2, Winnipeg shut-out Vancouver 2-0 and Edmonton lost 4-2 to Arizona.
