Tembec is letting residents know about fuel wood regulations and collections while it’s harvesting in the area. Tembec says that both harvesting and hauling wood intended to be used as fuel isn’t permitted in active forestry zones due to safety. The MNR says you must first have a fuelwood permit before harvesting for next winter and that safety is paramount when doing so.
