The Kapuskasing Sports Palace will be housing a three-day long charity hockey tournament as part of the Kap Gives Back campaign.  The Kap Year End Classic will see over 30 local teams hitting the ice to help raise money for local charities and organizations.  Chair of the event, Doctor Claude Boucher says the event wouldn’t be possible without residents and contributions from many local businesses.  Boucher says the main goal is to work with charitable organizations like the local food bank, Jump Start, Northern Corridor Children’s Fun and animal rescue.
