The cost of healthcare in the north is coming up again at Queen’s Park. NDP leader Andrea Horwath is asking the province to explain why the Liberal government is increasing drug costs for seniors. Horwath says the cost of living is already too high in the north. Horwath says on top of cuts to senior drug plans, the Liberals are cutting hospital care across the North. She says the Timmins hospital is feeling the pain of funding cuts, and patient care has suffered.
