Three Canadian NHL teams saw action last night and all three won, starting with a 4-3 shoot-out victory for Toronto against the New York Islanders.  Calgary went to overtime to beat Nashville 3-2 and Vancouver got by Arizona by that same score also in overtime.

In exhibition baseball, the Blue Jays beat Tampa Bay 5-1.
