NBA: The Toronto Raptors came back for a 104-99 win over the Brooklyn Nets last night. DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points to lead Toronto.

NHL: Alex Galchenyuk scored twice, including the overtime winner, as Montreal edged Dallas  4-3 last night. In other action Carolina needed the shootout for a 4-3 win over Ottawa, Nashville doubled Winnipeg 4-2 and James Reimer  recorded his first shutout of the season as the San Jose Sharks blanked the Edmonton Oilers 3-0.

MLB: In Grapefruit League action yesterday the Toronto Blue Jays beat a Minnesota Twins split squad 9-3. Jay’s prospect Darrell Ceciliani hit a grand slam.

CURLING: Brad Jacobs Northern Ontario rink is still the team to catch at the Brier.  Jacobs remains undefeated at 6-0 following wins against PEI and Alberta’s Kevin Koe. In second is Brad Gushue  of Newfoundland at 5-1, then it’s Manitoba at 4-2 followed by Alberta and Team Canada with 4-3 records.
