The St Louis Blues needed overtime for a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators last night. Elsewhere Connor McDavid scored in overtime to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres, Boston edged Calgary 2-1, Florida got by Winnipeg 3-2 and the Islanders skated to a 3-2 win over Vancouver.
TheToronto  Blue Jays beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3 in the first spring-training game for both teams. The Jays and Phillies play a rematch today at 1pm.
