The Kapuskasing EDC has partnered with College Boreal to bring agriculture information seminars to the town. From the EDC, Andre Robichaud says aside from the climate the biggest challenge facing that sector is gaining access to the land needed. Robichaud says 15 people attended the two-part course, 10 locally and five from other northern towns via the internet. He says agriculture once factored greatly into the town and is hoping it soon can be again.
