Tina Turner thinks the attendance at this year’s seniors fair in Cochrane will beat last year’s mark of 100 people.
Turner is facility manager for Cadence Retirement Residence, which is organizing the event next Tuesday, June 10th at the Commando Pavilion.
“We will have a great selection of community agencies, organizations with information relevant to aging and information relevant to seniors,” Turner says.
After a few morning activities and lunch, you can visit the booths providing information from several community health agencies.
“We’re going to have the community paramedicine program, the Cochrane Fire Department, the home and community care program, Helpline emergency response systems, to name a few.”
Everything is free. Turner says you’re welcome to bring an adult child with you.
