Being stopped for speeding just south of Cochrane last Thursday evening landed an Edmonton trucker in a lot of hot water..
The OPP officer who pulled over the 25-year-old driver determined that he was already under three criminal driving bans. His vehicle was also found to have two minor defects… which he failed to put in his daily inspection report.
The charges for all that are in addition to one for driving 108 in a 90.
The tractor part of his rig was impounded for 45 days and he’ll have to find a way to get back to Cochrane for a court date on June 17th.
