The students of St. Patrick’s Elementary School in Kapuskasing got a chance to strut their stuff in a public speaking exercise. The school’s Principal, Gretchen Morgan says it takes a lot for the students to get up there in front of a crowd but it teachers valuable skills for later in life. The first and second place students from each age group will be competing at the Legion with the winners of that bout heading to provincials. Morgan says this year’s group is exceptional and it isn’t the first time students from St. Pat’s would be competing in provincials.
