Three people are up on numerous charges following their arrest by Ontario Provincial Police during a traffic stop on Highway 11 in Smooth Rock Falls on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
Police say during the traffic stop officers saw three people and a bag of suspected cocaine in plain view. A search of the vehicle later resulted in the seizure of a switchblade, approximately $10,000 in cash and cocaine with a street value of about $4,000.
All three people have been charged with possession of cocaine, while a 49 year old from Cache Bay is charged with operation of a vehicle while prohibited under the criminal code, possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order.
A 41- year-old from Constance Lake is charged with possession of a prohibited device a switchblade. A full list of charge is up on our website.
