OPP charge person after theft at business

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Cochrane resident following a break and enter in the community. Police observed a person hanging out in a commercial parking lot on Third Avenue last Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10 pm. Police discovered the person had two sleighs loaded with various items that upon further review the cargo trailer had been broken into.

A 33 year old is charged with Break and Enter, theft under $5,000, breach of recognizance, failure to comply with a probation order, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments. The person is to appear in court later this month.
