GAS PRICES STILL UP

Eyebrows are rising as gas prices in the north are back to just under a dollar.  Timmins MP Charlie Angus is still on the issue, as he has just penned a letter to the Competition Bureau.  Angus has written to the law enforcement agency in the past, which hasn’t made any difference, but he is still pushing to find out if prices are being artificially inflated or not.  He says there is an outrageous discrepancy between the north and the south, which can’t be explained away by the cost of delivery.  By comparison, St. Catharine’s is sitting at 79 cents a litre today.
