It’s been lights out for about 1,200 Hydro One customers in our region since mid-morning.
That includes Northern Ontario Wires customers in all of Cochrane. The interruption stretches all the way west to Mattice, but does not include Kapuskasing.
While Hydro One crews were busy trying to restore power, the cause was being investigated.
At last word, they hope to have it back on by 4:00pm.
