Organizers of the Bill Harkins-Eugene Ricard Santa Claus Telethon in Iroquois Falls on Saturday, November 30th hope to pack the community auditorium with an audience.
However, past experience shows that people from far-flung places take advantage of a livestream. There have actually been viewers and donations from as far away as Australia.
Telethon chairman Rick Charlebois says finding the stream is as easy as Googling “Iroquois Falls Christmas Telethon” or “Bill Harkins Eugene Ricard Christmas Telethon Youtube”.
“We’ve had the channels in existence for many years now,” Charlebois remarks, “so Google does know how to find us. They’ll find us and they’ll have the streams there.”
