The 43rd annual Christmas telethon for the Bill Harkins-Eugene Ricard Santa Claus Fund is set to hit the stage at the community auditorium in Iroquois Falls on Saturday night, November 30th.
There are a lot of innovations on- and offstage this year. We’ll mention them in the days to come. In the meantime, you can hear our interview below.
Entertainment producer Barb Cornthwaite says while innovations are keeping things fresh, you can’t overlook tradition, as proven by some of the entertainers.
“Nancy Liznick, Alain Filion, Gig Giguère, John Shea and Mario Proulx, Troy Clancy, we’ve got Cory Whissell, Jesse Joseph, we’ve got Grynstone, Kyle Byron, Lee Holmes and Mike Burton,” she recites.
Organizers hope to pack the auditorium but will also be livestreaming the show.
