The Denver Broncos are Super Bowl 50 champions after beating Carolina 24-10.   Broncos’ linebacker Von Miller was named game MVP forcing two Carolina fumbles which resulted in a pair of touchdowns for Denver.

In the NHL, Montreal went to a shootout to beat Carolina 2-1 while the New York Islanders bombed Edmonton 8-1.

The Cochrane Crunch won Friday’s away game against Kirkland Lake 6-3.  Sadly, the Crunch lost Saturday’s game against Elliot Lake by the same score.
