The Cadence Residence retirement home in Cochrane is expanding.
Phase 2 will add 28 one-and-two-bedroom units to the existing 31. Facility manager Tina Turner says that unlike Phase 1, these units will allow for complete living independence.
“So the 28 units will be equipped with full kitchen facilities, so individuals renting these units will be able to do their own cooking,” she elaborates.
Turner adds, however, that those tenants will be able to buy meals from Cadence.
Groundbreaking is set for next spring, with an anticipated completion date of January, 2026.
