The Denver Nuggets ended Toronto’s 11-game winning streak with a 112-93 win over the Raptors last night. DeMar DeRozan led Toronto with 24 points.
Some NHL notes, Connor McDavid’s broken clavicle is healed and his rookie season resumes tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets and  All Star MVP John Scott has been named the NHL first star of the week, Columbus right-wing Cam Atkinson was named second star and Buffalo centre Jack Eichel won third-star honours.
On the first day of Super Bowl week the Denver Broncos team bus was involved in a chain-reaction accident. The Broncos were on their way back to their team hotel in Santa Clara following their first practice at Stanford Stadium yesterday, there were no injuries reported.
