There’s a family fun day onf Saturday at Cadence Residence in Cochrane. Facility manager Tina Turner says the whole community is invited to the semi-independent home for seniors for the intergenerational event.
Among the attractions are alpacas, miniature ponies, chickens and reptiles.
“We promise no snakes,” Turner pledges, “but there will be maybe lizards and bearded dragons, but lots of fun animals for the children to enjoy.”
“Weather looks promising,” she adds. “It’s going to be a great day, and we really look forward to bringing people to Cadence so they can see our beautiful facility and they can take part in our facilities.
The events run from 11:00am until 2:00pm on the back patio at Cadence. It will also feature face painting, a fish pond, kids’ activities and a complimentary lunch.
