Timmins is in the path of a winter storm hitting the north this week. Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement for the city, as 10-15 cm of snow is expected to hit tonight. That storm is going to bring high winds and blowing snow right through until Wednesday night. Environment Canada will continue to monitor the storm, and may put Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls on a winter storm warning as it approached the area.
