Right about the time a lot of fruits and vegetables reach their summer peak, the Cochrane Agricultural Society will have its first Fresh from the Farm market of the year.
Opening day is Saturday, July 27th at the fairgrounds, on the north end of First Ave.
Ag society treasurer Hope Levesque says vendors are still welcome to get on board.
“We’ve got about five or six vendors right now, but there’s room, room for more,” she notes.

Levesque says the group doesn’t want any Tupperware-type vendors, but anything farm related.
“Homemade goods, we’ve had people who do sewing and knitting and that kind of thing.”
Market hours are 10:00am until noon, while supplies last.
