NewsCHIEF DAY SPEAKS OUT SHARE ON: Tim Rout, staff Monday, Feb. 1st, 2016Isadore Day, Ontario’s Regional Chief, hopes the Ontario Liberals and Trudeau Liberal government implement the findings in a Human Rights Tribunal ruling. The Tribunal found that welfare programs for First Nation children are inferior to programs available to non-native children. Day hopes both governments start to reverse this decades old trend. Day says this would end discriminatory policies and create a new era of hope and renewal among First Nation people.
