The Super Bowl is set, the Denver Bronco’s hung on for a 20-18 win over  the New England Patriots yesterday in the AFC title game, and the Carolina Panthers thumped the Arizona Cardinals 49-15 in the NFC.

The Toronto Raptors won their eighth straight game 112-94 over the Los Angeles Clippers last night. Kyle Lowry had 21 points to lead the Raptors.

Craig Anderson stopped 35 shots to pick up his third shut out of the season as the Senators beat the Rangers 3-0 last night, and Carolina beat Calgary 5-2.

The Cochrane Crunch saw a mixed weekend.  Saturday’s game against Timmins went well as they slid by The Rock 4-3.  Sadly, Sunday’s game against Kirkland Lake didn’t work out as well, resulting in a 2-0 shutout.

Saturday, the Iroquois Falls Eskis lost their game to Rayside 7-2.
