Puska named NOJHL Broadcaster of the Year

A man whose voice is familiar to listeners of Moose FM in Iroquois Falls, Cochrane, Kapusasking and Hearst is being honoured by the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Denis J. Puska is the inaugural recipient of the league’s Broadcaster of the Year award.  He does play-by-play for Hearst Lumberjacks home games on Flo Hockey Dot TV.  Denis is a jack-of-all-trades around our radio stations, primarily as Kap-Hearst morning show host and news reporter.

Also from the Lumberjacks, defenceman Noah Janicki was named to the second all-star team and forward Tyler Patterson to the third all-star squad.  Iroquois Falls Storm bench boss Tyler Pracek  is the third all-star team coach.

The full list of awards is on the NOJHL website.
